Prosecutor Luis Herrera requested the arrest of the doctor for «attempted murder»to the detriment of Raphael Dufort, who claimed to have suffered consequences after being operated on by Lotocki to fill his nose, chest and biceps.

The Public Ministry official, for his part, understands that with the new pending cases that Lotocki faces, and pending the result of the model’s autopsy, procedural risks increased.

Herrera requested the arrest after a request presented by lawyer Roberto Casorla Yalet, who represents Dufort, and now the judge intervening in the case. must decide whether or not there is room for the measure.

In the document presented to Herrera, Casorla Yalet explained that «given the pending proceedings, in particular the sentences imposed on Aníbal Rubén Lotocki, which will prevent the application of any alternative procedural institute to preventive detention, I request within the period that Mr. Judge in charge, arrest of the accused is available«.

Lotocki was already sentenced to four years in prison and disqualification from practicing the profession for serious injuries committed against several patients, including Silvina Luna, who died two weeks ago at the Italian Hospital, but remains free because the sentence has not yet been confirmed by the Criminal Cassation Chamber.
