Investigative proceedings continue regarding the theft of vehicles that occurred inside the offices of the Regional Presidential Delegation (DPR) of Aysénlocated in Coyhaique this Friday.

The PDI confirmed this afternoon the discovery of one of the two stolen trucks that was found after reviewing the «ramifications of the site of the event,» said the prefect. Carolina Namor.

For now, the efforts are focused both on finding the whereabouts of the second stolen vehicle and on the antisocials who committed this crime.

From the Public Ministry, the prosecutor Álvaro Sanhueza ordered witnesses to be registered, review the DPR inventories and obtain images of the security cameras that are inside the enclosure.

Regarding the search for those responsible, the PDI is applying techniques of chemical inspection of the vehicle foundto obtain fingerprints or genetic remains that may provide clues as to who committed the robbery.
