A violent forest fire affects a large part of the Valparaíso Region during this Friday, an emergency that forced a large mobilization of Firefighters and personnel from the National Forestry Corporation (Conaf) to combat it. The fire, which originated in the Las Tablas Farm, near Lake Peñuelas, has already consumed more than 6,200 hectares and has spread to residential sectors, which is why different towns in the area had to be evacuated. In the images you can see the magnitude of the incident and the significant layer of smoke that can be seen from the entire region.
