Does four years that this group of Argentines is designing block by block the most iconic places in the country at 1:1 scale. The initiative is part of the global project called “Build The Earth”, which aims to achieve a exact replica of the entire planet. The ambitious idea was proposed by YouTuber PippenFTS during the mandatory isolation due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Fields, mountains and other large natural spaces can be automatically recreated using data from applications such as Google Earth. However, the problem is in the big cities. That is why the project needs the voluntary collaboration of thousands of players from around the world. “Anyone can join to us to contribute to the largest and most extensive construction project that has been attempted in Minecraft,” say the promoters of the initiative on the official website.

Enthusiastic about the project, a small group of teenagers founded “BTE: Argentina”. The community was getting bigger and bigger and they already captured the attention of users on the networks with their viral recreations of the Plaza de Mayo and Argentine soccer stadiums. It is worth clarifying that these creators do not have financial support and they maintain the server where all the works are found with their own pockets.

As for the different members, we have a certain closeness and we have seen each other in person a few times,” he added.

We have a system in which the user can request permits to build in an area that he or she chooses, and start building,” she noted.
